Summary:
This summarizes a conversation with Maged, we agreed an issue should be
filed. He said there were two approaches to diagram interchange (which
he can explain more about). The one in the IOS submission was chosen
for expediency and IBM will not be submitting it to the OMG's Diagram
Type Definition RFP (DTD). The differences between the approaches is
too much to resolve in an FTF. The IOS submission should use the same
diagram interchange as IOS members (IBM at least) are submitting for
DTD. Then any remaining differences between IOS and the later DTD
adoption can be resolved in FTF. -
