Summary:
The addition of entryCriteria linking Outcome to ValueStreamStage appears to eliminate the need for the triggers association, since triggering is one of the functions subsumed by the entryCriteria relation and would imply the existence of an identical entryCriteria relation.

Delete the triggers association from the metamodel
The addition of entry and exit criteria in resolving
BACM11-3eliminates the need for this association that essentially duplicates the semantic conditions of entryCriteria. As entryCriteria and exitCriteria are both <<class>> stereotyped associations, an architect may create specific properties for them when creating instances.
Note that the BIZBOK describes triggering by stakeholder (i.e. Customer), not by Outcome. See issueBACM11-52and proposed resolutionBACM11-58that address the association of Customer with triggering Outcomes. -
