The BACM_Model package diagram shows the inclusion relationships between the BACM package and the sub-packages that contain the metamodel classes and associations. The packaging is defined for convenience in managing the metamodel and should not be construed as defining domains of business architecture concepts.
The SMM package imports the SMM v1.2 or later metamodel and specializes some of its classes to customize them for use in BACM models. The specializations are named exactly as their parent metaclasses are in  the SMM v1.2 specification. This is done in lieu of actually importing the SMM metamodel and specializing its concepts.
