    OMG received a query last week about XMI, which I answered. The response
    from the originator to my comments about his example were to the effect that
    he took them from the XMI spec. I looked at the XMI spec (Appendix A,
    Example 1) and found that the example is not valid UML.

    This is the second time that I'm aware of that someone has tried to use this
    example in the UML environment and encountered problems, so it clearly needs
    to be corrected.
