Use of superSubType, wholePart and WholePartType in DoDAF 2
DoDAF 2 contains rules that indicate that superSubtype relationships can be formed between any type elements of the same kind. The same rule applies for wholePart (betwen individuals of the same type) and WholePartType (between types of the same kind). In UPDM terms this would correspond to Generalization as well as property handling. There are not enough stereotypes defined within UPDM 2 to allow these rules to be followed. This either needs to be rectified or a general statement made within UPDM that allows the use of the appropriate UML relationships to accomplish this.
