Summary:
[Steve Mellor] The action semantics has an action that starts a state
machine. The state machine starts in some known initial (pseudo-)state.There are many cases where one wants to initialize a state
machine so that starts in a specified (non-initial) state. Therefore the StartStateMachineAction needs to accept a state
(possibly multi-leveled) as an input. The state machine will
not execute any procedures or actions until after the state
machine is in the target state and then detects an event. -
