TCI11 — Entity interface does not support requirements of collection interfaces in Java

Because the Entity interface only has equals defined, objects that implement the interface can't be used as a key in Java as that requires there to be an id property (or equivalent). Consequently it's not possible to properly implement finding a referred to entity in a list of previously known entities.
