SYSML21 — Need semantics for propagation of "expose" in nested views

In both diagram and tabular representations, nested views are used extensively. For example, a part view might have 3 nested compartment views. All the views, the parent and the nested views, expose the same element with different filters.
Repeating the expose feature again and again may result in an inconsistency, and also very cumbersome.
The need is to have propagation semantics for expose feature (and maybe something more general?) that results in the member usage "inherits" the feature from the parent usage.
