Summary:
UML 2.2 defines a presentation option for stereotypes for comments. There is no need to repeat that option in SysML. There is no need for a tool vendor to support a UML presentation option to be compliant with the specification. Since SysML depends on the presentation option the chapter 7.3.1.1 should be updated to state that the presentation option is required.

Disposition Summary:
UML 2.2 defines the presentation option for stereotypes for comments. SysML
also defines it as a diagram extension, because it wasn’t mentioned in UML 2.1
which is the basis for SysML 1.1. Due to the update of UML there is no longer a
need to keep the diagram extension in SysML.
It is not necessary to explicitly mention that the presentation option isn’t optional
in SysML. The notation of the affected model elements rationale and problem is
clearly defined in table 7.1. -
