This issue deals with the fact that the SMM didn’t take advantage of some of the provision of CMOF.Discussion:
The architecture board as recommended that we change the SMM specification to be more in-line with CMOF rather than restricting ourselves to the EMOF model.Summary of change:
Modify SmmElement class
o Remove operations section from SmmElement
Modify SmmRelationship class
o Remove derived union attribute from the from and to associations.
o In the documentation, in the Associations sub-section, update the content to remove the reference to derived union:
from:SmmElement[1] The origin element (also referred to as the from-endpoint of the relationship).
to:SmmElement[1] The target element (also referred to as the to-endpoint of the relationship). Modify MeasureRelationship class
o Remove derived union attribute from the from and to associations.
