SBVR_ — No Way to Specify What the Instance of an Individual Concept Is

ISSUE STATEMENT

The definition of “individual concept” in SBVR is:

SBVR does not provide a means to specify what the instance of the individual concept is at any given point in time.

Since the instance of an individual concept can clearly be different at different points in time (possible worlds), we need a way to specify whether ‘Air Force One” in the example below is “the Boeing 777 with tail number nnn”, “the Apache Helicopter number xxxx”, or some other aircraft.

Air Force One

Definition: aircraft that the President of the United States is on board

Concept Type: Individual Concept

Add the new concept 'definite description'.
Clarify the definition of 'meaning corresponds to thing'.
Remove the necessity that an individual concept corresponds to exactly one thing.
Add a necessity that a referring individual concept always corresponds to the same thing.

This resolution resolves Issues 9942 as well.
