Summary:
Description:
In clause 8.2, p. 21, the entry for URI contains:
"Concept type: role"
"General concept: text"This is incorrect, in both regards. Per RFC 2396, a URI is a category of symbol or term that has a particular expression syntax and refers to some information element or information resource that is nominally available on the Internet. The URI expression plays the signifier role in the designation of that information resource.
It might be acceptable to leave URI as a subtype of 'text', but that is a narrowing of the definition given in the cited source.
Recommendation:
a. delete: "Concept type: role"
b. replace: "General concept: text" with:
"General concept: term" -
