KERML11 — User-readable definitions of KerML functions (KerML 9.4)

  • Key: KERML11-209
  • Status: open
  • Source: lmco.com ( Ms. Haley Patel)
  • Summary:

Currently, some of the KerML functions identified in KerML section 9.4 are not defined anywhere in the specification. Some are discussed in 7.4.9 Expressions but some are not. Some are defined in the functions themselves (such as Base Function '!=' being defined as 'not (x==y)') but others are not well-defined.

I would have expected a functions library to have good documentation of what each function does. An example of what I would have expected is in 9.4.18 for Occurrence Functions, where each function has documentation.

Ed confirmed in the Google Group that there is currently no further documentation than what we have in the specification document and XMI files, and that this is a known problem with no issue for it.
