Summary:
The lexical space for xs:boolean is
{true, false, 1, 0}http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-2/#boolean
Hence it's not correct to say that yesOrNo is equivalent to boolean unless, absurdly, it does not permit the values "yes" and "no". Either the name of the type should be changed (e.g. to trueOrFalse) or a mapping defined between it and boolean.
Either way this could have a large impact on other parts of FIBO using this type. -
