Summary:
Many properties (especially but not only in Relations.rdf) are set at too high a level of generality. Properties which are given with a domain and range of "Thing" include many properties whose definition and intended meaning are specific to a given context, such as Contract or Organization.
Properties should always be defined at the level at which they apply, and ideally should be placed in an ontology for the subject matter to which they apply.
Specific examples are given in two additional Issues already raised. See for example the usage of hasEffectiveDate (Issue #33)
The entire model should be reviewed for such occurrences
