Disposition Summary:
Need the concept of a Sole Proprietorship as a Business Entity
Banks treat sole proprietorships as independent entities and often create unique business accounts for them distinct from the personal accounts of the owner. This issue requests a model of the sole proprietor concept, as a formal organization and as a business entity. This is distinct from the sole proprietor which should be defined as a PartyInRole.
This issue introduces a new section 9.8, Module: Sole Proprietorships. The modifications defined herein are entirely additive, i.e., this is all new content for the FIBO Business Entities specification.
This resolution depends on the resolution of FIBOBE-_11 and FIBOBE-_9, both of which make changes to the Legal Persons ontology, on which this resolution depends. -
