Summary:
The introductory text for the Publish Object Class Attributes service (clause 5.2) says that one of the ways that a joined federate may become the owner of an instance attribute is
- By using ownership management services to acquire instance attributes of object instances. The joined federate may acquire only those instance attributes for which the joined federate is publishing the corresponding class attributes.
Because this text does not mention at what class the joined federate must be publishing the corresponding class attributes, it is not consistent with the rest of the standard, which asserts that the joined federate mush be publishing the corresponding class attributes at the known class of the object instance.
- By using ownership management services to acquire instance attributes of object instances. The joined federate may acquire only those instance attributes for which the joined federate is publishing the corresponding class attributes.
