Summary:
As pre-condition (c) of the Start Registration For Object Class service (clause 5.10) is now worded, the Start Registration For Object Class service could be received at a publishing federate even if it were the case that if that publishing federate were to register an instance of the specified class, no other federate in the federation execution would discover the object instance. This does not appear to meet the stated intent of the Start Registration For Object Class service to "notify the joined federate that registration of new object instances of the specified object class is advised". Precondition (c) should be amended to specify that the object class at which the subscribing federate is actively subscribed to the attribute must be the subscribing federate's candidate discovery class of an object instance registered at the specified object class.
