DMN15 — Allowed Values for collection item definitions

    DMN ItemDefinitions metamodel (section 7.3.3) specifies that the allowedValues of a collection attribute are projected to its elements which prevents us from constraining collections.

    For example:

    • The collection size needs to be between 1-5 elements
    • The collection can’t contain duplicates

    Our proposal is to add an additional attribute to ItemDefinition named collectionAllowedValues to capture these constraints.
