DDS15 — [DDS] Data types permissible as topic key fields

  • Summary:

    The DDS 1.2 standard does not mention which IDL data types are permissible as
    key fields for topic data types.

    As the data types for keys, at least enumeration types and integral types
    (octet/short/long etc.) should be permissible.
    However, it would be desirable to also allow simple (non-array) typedefs
    of these types.
