Summary:
The DLRL offers two different update modes for its Primary Cache: an automatic mode in which object creations, updates and deletions are pushed into the Cache and a manual mode in which the Cache content are refreshed on user-demand.
>From the perspective of a Cache-user, it is important to find out what has happened to the contents of the Cache during the latest update session. In automatic update mode, Listeners are triggered for each Object creation, modification or deletion in the primary Cache. However, when the Cache is in manual update mode none of these Listeners are triggered and no means exist to examine what has happened during the last update round. The same can be said for the CacheAccess, that does not have an automatic update mode and neither has any means to examine the changes that were applied during the last invocation of the “refresh” method.Proposed Resolution:
We therefore propose to add some extra methods to the ObjectHome, that allow an application to obtain the list of Objects that have been created, modified or deleted in the latest update round of a specific CacheBase
